BSPLAYER for LINUX

I've grown quite used to UBUNTU over the past 4months. But there's one more thing that I still sometimes rather boot in Win2k for and that is BSPLAYER.
I've tried KAFFEINE, GXINE, MPLAYER, TOTEM(worst excuse for a player) and none of them them give me good subtitle support from GUI at least
In BSPLAYER I could change the subtitles size, colour, possition and could manually load them by as simple as right click.
But in the above mentioned players I couldn't find a way to change any/all of those settings.
Do U have any suggestions?

ps. And another thing I really want OSD support when in FULLSCREEN which I only found in MPLAYER

well, since you tried most of the common players and are not satisfied, then continue to boot windows or learn to write code and write your own program

I just find it really weird that linux has a lack of decent movie player.
Ohh well, guess am gonna have to get used to one of these players. Since am not planing to go back to Win2k. Only for emergencies, like my scanner which is not supported in LINUX (UMAX ASTRA 3500)
