Do you have another browser you could try it in like Opera or Konqueror? How do you know there should be pictures there?

A few suggestions:
1) Clear your cache
2) Check the image manager ins't blocking them
3) Maybe a shared library is missing or corrupt. Try starting it from a terminal window and look for error messages.

A couple of questions.

were you ever able to view pictures with redhat, or did this happen all of the sudden?

when you installed redhat (i know its more automagical than slack) did you select support for jpg bmp etc..

can you view pictures that are saved on the hard drive (like wallpaper and stuff)

This just started about a week ago. Before that I could view them.
I have set up everything for jpg....etc
I can view pictures on my HD.
Ill give you an example of what my problem is. If you go to hotornot.com, it shows you a picture of someone. That shows up as no picture, and gives me a blank section where the pic should be, and shows the little icon in the corner, stating that the picture cannot be found. Now if I go to a website that has thumbnails of pictures, the thumbnails will not appear. It just shows me where the thumbnail would be, but if I click on the thumbnail it will bring the full picture up in a new window (which is what it is supposed to do) At first I thought it was a problem with thumbnails, but then as I browsed other sites I noticed that I couldnt see other pictures.

Increase the number of connections mozilla makes to a server. To few & it wont retrieve all the pictures, increase the max total connections too (you might as well while you're there!) Hot or not is a bad example because some of the pictures don't appear for me & I've got opera tweaked to perfection (imo )

cg

p.s. just in case you don't know type about:config to get to tweak the settings
