broken manual pages


manual pages are not working

hi!

when i type in something like "man as"

the terminal spits out two errors:

Code:
/usr/bin/gtbl - no such file or dir
/usr/bin/nroff - no such file or dir

now i downloaded the latest version of groff and it still doesnt work.
what software do i have to install in order get that working?

oh yea and how is that tool called to view and maintain the packages under slackware?

thanks a bunch!

These files are realy there? try:

# ls -la /usr/bin/gtbl
# ls -la /usr/bin/nroff
