Bootloader probs
I did a dumb-ass thing earlier, installed windows after linux, hence overwriting my MBR and giving me no option to boot linux. Could anyone tell me how to restore GRUB to its former glory?
Much appreciated. |
Insert the redhat CD1 and at the boot prompt type "linux rescue"
This will take you to a shell prompt where you can follow the redhat guide: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...nstalling.html The path to grub-install will probably be: /mnt/sysimage/sbin/grub-install |
Cheers dave, i'll give that a go.
