Booting problem

I purchased a new keyboard,LOGITECH cordless, along with a laser mouse. When I boot, since I have Linux on one HD and WinXP on another, the boot manager gives me the selections possible in a list. It normally would boot into Linux (Ubuntu 6.06 LTS) and requires an indexing down to boot WINXP. The cursor keys do not work so that I cant index down. However, if I use my old keyboard ,a PS/2 LOGITECH, the cursor keys work. After booting into WINXP, however, the cursor keys on the cordless work fine as well as in Linux Is this in my boot mgr and what do I do??
All three units, mouse, keyboard, receiver all qork fine AFTER booting. My boot mgr is Grub. tell an old man how to access the grub file and see if the problemis there.

Have a Logitech setup like that too, and had the same problem. Did you follow the instructions to connect? There's a button on the keyboard, mouse, and on the xceiver. You need to press the button on the mouse, wait 30 seconds, then the transeiver, wait again, then the keyboard.

booting

Thnx, been there done that (btdt). The problem is that upon booting the mouse cursor does not work . Once I'm in either distro,WinXP or Ubuntu, it works fine. Could it be in 'grub' which is the boot mgr?If it is, how do I correct it?
