I have been running Ubuntu Dapper Drake for 2 months as a dual boot with Windows XP Pro. My power supply malfunctioned and fried my motherboard, which I replaced with an Intel DQ965. The old one was an Intel D945GNT. Now Windows works fine with no adjustments for the new motherboard, but Ubuntu won't boot. It gets as far as the "ok--booting the kernel" message and then nothing happens. I've tried re-installing it and running it from the cd, but the same thing happens. My computer is a Pentium D with a gig of ram. Any ideas?
