Boot computer through network without PXE?
Is there a way for computers that don't support PXE to boot through the network? I.E a bootloader is installed on the local disk which then scans the network and boots what is dished out?
I'm unsure of what terms to google for :s |

Gpxe and the current model Ipxe are the solution for this. I guess you could go wild and create a custom rom for a board that has a slot but no one does that anymore.
For a test. See www.netboot.me |
