I have one main bookmark file, then I have about 3-400 bookmarks inside of neatly organized files, in konqueror, how do you save this file to a floppy. The reason is that I'm going to format my hard drive and reinstall Mandrake 9.1 I just don't want to have to backup my bookmarks by pen and pencil...
I spent some time playing with this, but no luck...
I know in windows it is as simple as saving the favorites folder.
well what i don't understand about konqueror booksmarks, is that when you save them it saves them as an *.xml file but then on the other hand it only gives an option to import netscape/mozilla bookmarks which are saved as *.html files...i don't get it either.
I Just figured it out, it makes no sense, atleast not to me, but it works. I just saved my main bookmark file as *.mozilla, and saved as .xml, I was able to save these to disk & restore this backup on my other computer, even though if you just see the files, they look like HTML files, but they actually do backup...
