Question Blocking file ext (exe, vbs, bat, com..) with sendmail


HI all

I'm running sendmail & amavisd on my linux box, but now i have a problem, i would like to block some file ext (exe, vbs, com, bat...)
If someone has any idea how to to that pls let me know.

You could use some procmail with some external tool like Exim, Inflex or Renattach, or have procmail filter it itself.

Take a look at Anomy Mailtools, in particular the Sanitizer.

http://mailtools.anomy.net/

It's extremely good and fast, and will do everything that Amavis does and more, including blocking executable file formats.
