Blackbox

Hey Im using Blackbox .0.65.0 in Slackware 9.0
Everything works fine but I need to do a few adjustments.

1. How do I change bash or any other shell to transparent?

2. How do I open the the KDE filemanager? (konqueror?) I've managed to open Gnome's Nautilus but I prefer KDE's.

3. And where do I find all these neat utilities with CPU rate and CPU temp and so on?

thankfull for any help.

1) what terminal app do you use?
2) type konqueror at a prompt, or add that to you blackbox menu
3) gkrellm + lm_sensors is the most popular program for this

1) If you are using Eterm, there's a "toggle transparency" option from the menu (then you just save your settings.

Note:

1 - If you want to do it from the command line, 'man Eterm' will give you the switch (I don't remember by heart).
2 - In blackbox, Eterm transparency won't work unless you first use Esetroot to set your background image.
