Hi,

I'm getting a black screen when I vnc to my home machine (Manjaro 16, xfce, 64bit). It was working ok when Debian stable was on the remote machine.
I usually will ssh into the remote machine and run x11vnc, then in another terminal on local machine I use:
and a vnc session will open.
I've also tried using RealVNC and the vnc software that installs with Google Chrome to no avail.

Not sure which files to look at for trouble shooting. I've searched this forum but most of the stuff is very old and doesnt match my issue.

Maybe turn off the screensaver.

There is actually is no screensaver installed. I like my monitors black (sleep) when locked.

Not sure what changed, but after rebooting vnc session is working.
