BitTorrent...Running Help

Hi,

I have searched the forums for bittorrent hoping to find someone with the same problem as I do. Aparently no one does.

I run Red Hat 9, and I went to the bittorrent site and got the tar file, I read the Install.unix.txt file, I installed Python and WxPython with the usually ./configure make make install methods. Then I edited the /etc/mailcap file to ascociate all .torrent files with btdownloadgui.py ..Now thats done

I download a torrent file, and I click open with {pathname}/btdownload.gui (The pathname I left blank I dont want to type it all out), ..So I wait, and nothing happens, No Window opens, I try the console method by typing btdownloadgui.py --url {torrenturl} and it says "Command not found".. I am guessing I did something wrong during the installation..Any idea what did i do wrong?

I have the same problem using bittorrent gui, I solved it pretty easy by using non-gui downloader, What I usually do is just get the .torrent file and then run
btdownloadcurses.py /path/to/*.torrent
