Bittorrent
I downloaded and installed bittorrent. I just can't figure out how to get a .torrent file to start downloading. Any and all help will be appreciated!

have you tried typing
% python <torrent_file_name>
?
i haven't torrent'd anything in a while, but that's what i think i used to have to do.

nevermind, i did a run command and brought up rxvt, but it still says command not found

The problem you're having is related to the fact that your shell is interpreting things in the URL to mean shell stuff. There are instructions for integrating BitTorrent with all the popular browsers that comes with BitTorrent. Follow those and you just have to click on .torrent files and they will download like normal files.
