In windows I used a client call Bit Tornado. Is there a Linux version of this client? Or is there a clone that is similar?

Try using mldonkey it also supports other filesharing networks. Get g2gui if you want a frontend to it

yea definitely not mldonkey.....

you can get the standard bit torrent client for linux, and depending on your distro, you can get the shad0w rpm for it. both of these work pretty well. The guy that made the bit torrent protocol is brahm cohen and you just put his name along with bit torrent in and you should be able to find it
