Binding a program to a key

Hi, under WIndows XP I had some keys bound to programs like web browser and email reader.
Now I wanna do the same here, with my MDK 9.2 and KDE 3.x
I'd like to start Mozilla browser by typing the browser key on my keyboard for instance.
Than ks in advance for any precious help.
Greetings.

You can do this with some window managers but i yours doesn't support it then you can install xbindkeys and use that.
