Best video encoding tool for linux
 
ok ive tried acidrip and dvdrip...but im looking for a prog that has the functionality of flaskmpeg(now called Xmpeg)...any suggestions? i mainly use Xmpeg on Windows to convert dvd Vobx to divx(or xvid)?

It is an amazing tool, dvd::rip is just a gui for this tool, but only supports a fragment of the whole spectrum this programm is capable of.

well for one, u cant encode vob files on the hard disk...or atleast i couldnt..
