Best image/picture viewer???

My wife often goes to the Yahoo website and naturally some TV show websites to check out the latest news. Some of the images don't load on the web pages. Other images load fine. What viewer is best to have installed? If I have multiple viwers installed will that cause problems also? Thanks for any help.

I'm using Ubuntu 6.06LTS Dapper Drake. Have an older 750mhz Duron processor with 576mb of ram and a 256mb video card. Thanks again, Gary

"best" is bad as it is so subjective.
There are lots of reasons an image may not load on a given web page. Maybe the image file has been removed, maybe it is in a format that is not supported, maybe it has a bad wrapper (javascript or shockwave say), maybe it is adblocked.

Can you provide examples?

In firefox, you can try to rt-click on the image placeholder and select "show image".
