Best File System for External Drive
Hello.
I have an external drive attached to my Debian system. It is currently ext3 formatted. Although I can mount it on my mac using the e2fs mac tools, I can't seem to write to it (even though the override permissions option is on). Is there a good filesystem that is supported by both Linux and Mac? Because there are lots of large, important files on the disk, from what I understand, it is important that the filesystem is journalized and has large file support. I don't care if it is Windows compatible. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any help,
Sean
