Best downloads with resume function
I am looking for a linux downloader that will save the files to my box. It must have a resume function and remember the point it was up to after I restart the computer.

wget is usually the best:
wget -c http://www.somehost.com/file.ext |
and if you like a gui you can use gwget in gnome or kmago for kde
|
hi all!
will gwget or kmago work well with fedora core 3?? |
Do you use gnome or kde?
|
i use both..i mean frequently KDE..
i know gwget is for genome and kmago for KDE..is it rite? do they work for fedora core 3 genome and kde repectively..?? |
i think kget is nice for kde - its integrated with konqueror!
and u can try prozilla / prozgui |
kget is good thanks as are all of the others suggested here but i like kget best thanks.
Though i must say i dont use konqueror, mozilla firefox still beats it but it is chasing well. |
