Best distro for me

What do you think the best distro for my system would be?

Duron 900
20GB Quantum Fireball
10GB Seagate Barracuda
256MB RAM
Sony DVD 12X
Cyber Driver CD Writer 8x4x32x
Radeon 7500 64DDR

I've had big problems trying to get my radeon to work correctly in Mandrake 9.0 and I dont want to go there again. So what distro do you suggest?

Thanks for the input

I'm a big fan of SuSE.

According to SuSE it should:

http://www.suse.com/us/private/produ...uirements.html

I'd prefer a bit more hz's under the hood, 900Mhz is probably going to be a bit sluggish (I have a 1.4 and I'm ready to upgrade). But it'll be fine.

Head on over to www.cheapbytes.com for some cheap CD's. That way you can try out SuSE (or a number of other distros) and decide if you like it before shelling out the big bucks (if you buy the boxed sets).

I found MDK to be very zippy on the duron. Is just that my Radeon only worked at 50hz with the generic vesa driver so I want to try another distro.

I think I will stick with MDK now as my Radeon is working! turns out all I had to do was disconnect the TV out and It worked perfectly.
