Best Distribution of Linux

Just out of curiosity,.. I've been using Redhat for a while now, and have never tried to use any other distribution of linux.

I keep hearing that Redhat is the best, but nobody offers me any solid reasoning.

what do you consider to be the best distribution?

I don't think you can say that any one distro is better than the others, it all depends on what you want to do and how much you know.

It depends on your needs, personaly I find Red Hat to create far too much work for me and use Debian. There is no "best" (although Corel made a good go at producing the "worst" )

nah, corel wasn't the worst... i made a worse one. admittedly it consisted of a house brick with "linux" written on the side in tippex but it actaully just about manage to underperform compared to corel
