best bittorrent for linux console

Hi,
I used to use azureus before but since it consume too much memory due to jvm, i need another bittorrent client. I have tried rtorrent and bittorrent-console but it seem that rtorrent is too complicated and it has some bugs with the write() function, bittorrent is simpler but it requires a long command to be typed in order to download a single file(max upload, save location,...) is there anyway to save all these options of bittorrent to a config file? Is there any other bittorrent client that work as fast as azureus but consume less resource(maybe C/C++ program, not java)?
Any suggestion is welcome
Thanks in advance
Thai

There is ctorrent and ctorrent-dnh (patched, recommended) but I'm a big fan of rtorrent, care to go over what the bug you're having is? I remember something similar when I started using it but the fix was something simple like directory permissions, not 100% sure exactly but if you post an error someone should be able to help.

Only downside is it doesn't support encryption, but then I don't think any linux clients do except Azureus.

This is the error message i get:

(10:11:37) Using 'epoll' based polling.
rtorrent: FileManager::erase(...) could not find FileMeta in container.

With the same torrent, azureus and bittorrent work just fine(althougt the speed of bittorrent is slower than azureus)
Please help

BitTorrent

I use Opera 9.0 Web browser, and it has BitTorrent support built in, doesn't use up many resources, and is a kick-a** browser it's own right. (My apologies to Firefox fans, but I don't really care too much for it--personal opinion.)

That being said, I am as much a as it gets, and want to thank everyone here -- without the forum posts and the Linux Wiki, I'd still be staring at my monitor gape-mouthed and drooling! I haven't played with anything even resembling Unix since my old Radio Shack CoCo II running OS/9, many many moons ago. I'm pretty much a believer that any problem I have, more than likely someone has had it before and has posted a question, so most of my answers will be right here for the finding. Thanks again!!!!

The original 'bittorrent' client works. There's an ncurses version.

I had the same problem and resolution was strangly simple
In my home directory in a file .rtorrent.rc I had
directory /home/nobody/torrent and this directory wasn't there I just change it to may home directory. I Hope that helps.
