Best audio player for linux

I just installed Unbuntu on my rig, and I am trying to find a audio player that does everything that iTunes can, I tried using wine to use iTunes but it was too slow and wouldn't connect to the store, I like have my music organized just like iTunes organizes it, I also need it to update my track's info and always scanning for new music in my music folder.

Thnx

I don't think there's a "best". It depends on individual tastes.
I like amarok. Have you tried that? It is in the ubuntu repositories, just install it if it is not already on your system.

You did press "Play" I hope ;)
I'd expect amarok to be sensible enough to tell you you need the codecs.

If they are mp3's then you need to get the codecs installed.
This is legal only in some parts of the world, or if you have paid for a windows OS.

Run a search on ubuntu restricted codecs to find out the (many) ways to install them.

Then try again.
