Unhappy BBC Iplayer Desktop

I am running opensuse 11.1 x86_64 on kde4 desktop.I have just installed BBC Iplayer Desktop. It seems to have installed correctly including Adobe AIR.However when I run the program nothing happens. It is running as it appears in my task list but I see no display I have tried running it on gnome also but it still wont display. This is becoming quite urgent as I believe BBC are disabling support for the embedded flash player.

Thats further than I have got, whenever I try and install anything with Adobe Air it just segfaults. I'm also using Opensuse 11.1. I hope they are not dropping support for the embedded flash player. Anyone know if air runs from wine?
