Hi all,

Does anyone know a good bandwidth management/traffic shaping software that can do this by IP address and works with the 2.6 kernel?

I have implemented rshaper on a 2.4 kernel and works very well.I understand that rshaper cannot work with recent kernels like 2.6 if am not wrong.I need to have a working bandwidth shaper on a newer distribution and I don't want to downgrade the kernel.


Kindly assist me.

Av been looking at easyshape,looks quite good but I have a problem with installing and finally running it;especially the dependencies needed by it.
I looked at the Installation Guide in the README file that comes with the package but its too brief.

Has anyone installed it and used it?I would like to know how u carried on with its setup.Include any links to howtoz.
I want to run it on Fedora Core 6 or in CentOS 5.0.

Also if there's any other distribution that comes built with bandwidth management letmi know.
