How can i backup my PC using Red Hat 8.0

well what do you want to backup?
do you mean how to compress data into something like a tarball?
how to burn data to a cd?
how to copy data to another drive?
how to setup something like raid level 1?

i want to be able to know how to do a full backup, increamental and burn it on to a CD

well i'll shoot you over to here
this is a simple script for a full/incremental backup .. and since it is the linux-backup.net website, you may find some other info that you may be interested in that you may not have mentioned in this thread ...
you can worry about the burning part yourself, cause i will assume you do know how to burn ... if you don't just say so, and we'll cover that topic also ..
