Background Disapearing.

Hey,

I have a very small problem, and i can't seem to find out why my computer is doing this.
-- I've installed 3 different backgrounds on my gnome desktop, now everytime i restart the computer my desktop background is gone and the default color is just there. Could anyone come up with any ideas to solve this problem.

Note: I've already tryed the option to "save current setup" when attempting to shutdown the computer, this option has not worked for me.

Thanks for your time.

are you sure your selecting a picture thats not on a network share or a volume that needs to be mounted first. Other then that im not sure why it wouldent save it. Try reinstalling gnome or mabyes its a defective build?
