it shouldnt be an HDD problem unless you get similar errors with other apps.
my guess is wrong permissions can cause such error. it would be kind of odd, since as you said restart helps... anymore details?
restart helps.few percents downloaded and again this happens.
i dont think it can be persmissions-problem because i use only one account at my computer. (even hardly remember when i last logged in as root :-) )
If I remember correctly, that's the error messgae I was getting a while back. My problem turned out to be that I was trying to write a file larger than 4GB to a FAT32-formatted drive.
HTH,
Kristi
this happens even when i was copying files to external hard drive... konqueror (even Midnight) alerts an the same files.
when i restarted the torrent from beginning it downloaded without errors.... i'll check this HDD :-) because it is new (about month or two since i bought it) so i have warranty still :-)
Hi cymbaline...I realised I am facing the same problem. Basically I am unzipping a file. Most of the contents are less than 2 Mb. However one files is of around 28 mb. So while unzipping when it comes to this file I get a disk full error.
Did you manage to fix this problem ?
Any ideas or suggestion welcome.
