Avant window navigator / beryl kills shortcuts

Thats about it really, i installed A-W-N the other day on ubuntu feisty and it's killed all my keyboard shortcuts. the system ones still work but the extra ones i added to certain programs have stopped working and i cant figure out why.

okie, so what actually has happened is that Beryl has stolen all my keyboard shortcuts and i can't seem to find out how to add them again, the only one i want back is the one for terminal but in the beryl setup options there's no way to add it and when you add it with System > Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts it does nothing. Any ideas?
