automatic reconnect for mp3 streams?
Maybe slightly off-topic--just get insensed and rant if so--but anyone know whether there is any linux based mp3 and aac stream capable players that have the option to automatically reconnect if the connection (of which there is none, given that most streams seem to use udp, but you get my drift) is dropped?
From certain unnamed locations, my streams are constantly interrupted. I don't mind the break, but it would be great if mplayer et al. would be kind enough to reconnect. Thanks. |
I am almost positive that XMMS does that, which means that many of the other X-based players should as well (since many of them started as forks of XMMS in first place, Beep, Audacious, etc).
Unless you wanted something console based? |
