Autocad 2000I in Linux

I just wanted to let it be known that Autocad 2000I runs in a usable manner under Win4Lin. I have windows 98SE loaded and running, essentially, as a linux program. Woo Hoo win4lin. It runs just about every thing i throw at it. I wish there was a usable linux based alternative to Autocad, but i haven't seen it yet. There are 3 quirks in this set up that one should be aware of if they need to run Autocad but also want linux and tire of the dual boot solution. 1) Win4Lin doesn't run win2k, XP or NT of any flavor. 2) you are limited to 128mb of memory for Windows. Fine for most of the drawings i do, but more complex 3d stuff does bogg down sooner than in a true boot of windows. 3) The mouse is ... well, odd. After certain commands it won't go to one side of the screen or the other until you go all the way to the top or bottom of the screen. And some times it does just the opposite. Basiclly my optical mouse acts like it has a dirty ball. LOL But all in all, it's very usable. O.k. then. I just wanted to post this so some one else can avoid the 3 weeks of looking for a way to get out of Bills world but still has to use Autocad. FYI Photoshop works great too. ( but yes, i'm slowly learning the Gimp when time permits)
