i have installed fedora core 5 on my system. but i am unable to install the software for linux. i have downloaded xmms 1.2.10 , zinf player, mpg123-0.59, amarok player but unable to run the mp3,ogg,mpg-1,2,3. i am following the installation steps but unable to run the audio and video.

i cracking my head doing this, please anybody mail my the simplest way to install the software and run audio and video on my system.

in xmms player, when adding mp3 file is possible. when added the file the winamp way the file is not shown in the playlist and not even playing.

please help me out.

I don't know whether it's very easy to find those rpms for an unsupported version of Fedora. Yes, you may be able to get it to work but it would be a lot more convenient if you simply downloaded Fedora 7 instead.
