Attempted GLText modification
I attempted to change the currently installed GLText screensaver in
Code:
Host: Crystal Kernel: 3.19.0-32-generic x86_64 (64 bit gcc: 4.8.2) I navigated to the folder "/usr/share/applications/screensavers" to find that I have two files named "gl.desktop.save" and "gl.desktop.save.1" as well as the original file named "GLText".I'm pretty sure that I've screwed up something, but I'm not sure how to go forward, as the instructions that I'd followed were how I got to this point. I hope someone knows what to do to fix this, and is willing to share it with me. :( Please? |
I'm just saying 'never mind' here. I found why the system was bogging down was because I had eight instances of "GLText" running in the background. As for the extra 'save' text files, I used 'gksudo nemo' and removed them.
All's right as rain now. Thanks for looking anyway. :? |
