ATK compile problem

checking for Win32... no
checking for aclocal flags...
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 2.0.0...
*** 'pkg-config --modversion glib-2.0' returned 2.2.3, but GLIB (2.2.1)
*** was found! If pkg-config was correct, then it is best
*** to remove the old version of GLib. You may also be able to fix the error
*** by modifying your LD_LIBRARY_PATH enviroment variable, or by editing
*** /etc/ld.so.conf. Make sure you have run ldconfig if that is

*** If pkg-config was wrong, set the environment variable PKG_CONFIG_PATH
*** to point to the correct configuration files

*** GLIB 2.0.0 or better is required. The latest version of

My guess would be that glib is made of a few files called libglib-2-blah-blah and they will probably be in /usr/lib . It's quite likely some of them may be part of glib-1.2 (if you have that installed). Don't delete anything. It's too irreversible. If you want to try moving them out of the way, put them somewhere like root's home folder. That way if Gnome breaks and you find yourself back at the command prompt you can login as root and they're right there to cp back to /usr/lib . Not that I've ever done anything as foolish as that...Good luck.
