Does the ATI RAdeon 9700 pro drivers work with any forms or linux such as mandrake, red hat etc.... because I know it doesn work with Mandrake 9.1 because I have a KT400 chipset. Unless any support has come out. Its been about 2 months since I messed with linux. I stopped because with mandrake 9.1 the ATI drivers would not work is there anything linux I can use with the radeon 9700 pro???

I have a ATI Radeon 9700 Pro with Mandrake 9.1. I don't know much about linux since I've been a long time WIndows user. However, I remember I downloaded an ATI driver and double clicked it and I think that it installed itself, I don't know. But Mandrake 9.1 works fine for like videos and web browsing. I haven't tried games as I do not know how to install them so I don't know if games are possible with a Radeon 9700 PRo with Mandrake 9.1

Well usually after I install the drivers I cant get back into linux due to a driver and kernel conflict soo I dont know I just needed an answer to if there is any other linux's that work
