ATI Radeon 9000 OpenGL problem

Ok if any one can help me that would be great. I installed this game called Tribes 2 on Suse 9.0. The game installed fine, but when i try to run the game it gives me this error "Your 3D renderer (Mesa GLX indirect) does not appear to be configured for hardware acceleration". I don't know what to do.
Specs of my PC:
AMD XP 1800+
640 DDR Ram
OS: Suse 9.0, Windows XP
Video card: ATI Radeon 9000 128MB

can any one help me please.
