ATI Driver problem on SuSE 9

Here's the deal, I installed the fglr rpm for my Radeon 9200 but I apparently botched something up and now X Windows will not start.

So I log in as root and go to the directory with the RPM and do a rpm -i <file> hoping to perhaps re-install it and correct whatever I did wrong. It tells me however "Package already installed."
So I do a rpm -e <file> and it tells me "Package is not installed."
Any help uninstalling the drivers would be much appreciated.

login as root and run 'sax2' to reconfigure the display.
