Aterm transparency and KDE

Hi there!

Been searching for a while and I could find the answer, so here I go.
Recently I've been trying KDE+Beryl to see if it's worth it to leave fluxbox at my back and take the new eye-candy things Beryl can give me.

But the main problem is that I can't get transparency with aterm. I don't want REAL transparency, but the old one. No matter if I turn on/off beryl, the problem is the same. It makes a copy of the background and does not refresh it when you move it or even type in it.

Is there a way to get aterm transparency work under KDE?

Thanks in advance.

Why not use konsole instead of aterm? Then just use konsole menus

Settings -> Configure Konsole -> Schema

where you can select transparent konsole.

u can use gnome-terminal for real transparent. If you just want to display the desktop wallpaper in terminal, i would suggest to use tilda, it give u a good experience.

Konsole takes a lot more resources than aterm. And because I can have a frame-less aterm, while I can't have a konsole one.
