I have been trying to get a background pixmap in aterm and it keeps saying that -pixmap is a bad option. I have used the --enable-background-image and other options at the ./configure stage but it says libXpm support v3.4 is needed but i have it installed already. I use Mandrake 7.2 and it comes with that. Is it looking in the right place? what can i do to solve this?
just in case some one else has the same problem, I solved it by installing xpm-devel. Simple as that. You also have to use the appropriate options in the ./configure step
