astronomy with linux
 
hi i have a meade lxd55 and i wanted to know if there is a program for suse 10.2 that will work for capturing pictures. i have a camera that came with the telescope i bought.

Talon is nice but last I know does not work meade controls.
Probably XEphem will do what you need.
Maybe ktelescope may work but not sure.
Also I seen a link about kstars but not sure if it can control telescopes. Thought it was just a planetary display like stellarium.

Can't you use v4l for capturing fram from camera??
then save it in bitmap, then play around with it?
