are there any easy to use video-wall programs out there that are free

I am trying to build a video-wall consisting of several tower where each will be used to control 2 or 3 display tiles, many google searches for a windows compatible one has turned up nothing since the software has either been depricated or isn't free. are there any video-wall programs that are free, easy to install and setup and are compatible with debian/ubuntu

please don't mention rocks vizwall roll, i have tried that numerious times with no luck plus i developed a dislike torwards any redhat based distributions so i would like to have a video-wall program that will work for debian. also some installation instructions either provided here or through hyperlink
