Are all Linux applications open source?

If not, which ones are not? Why are they not? I tried to find answer in search engines but all topics are about free applications.

No. Can't name everyone, but some of the more popular would be Adobe's Acrobat Reader, Adobe's Flashplayer, Nero's burning software, LaCie's Lightscribe, nVidia and ATI's graphics drivers, RealPlayer, Matlab, and others. There not open-source because the company that owns doesn't want them to be open-source. Most probably due to proprietary features.
