Ardour Dependency Hell

Anybody know of an apt repostitory that has ardour in rpm? I tried to install from source but the dependency just got out of hand. First it needed this then that need that and so forth(you've all been there). I'd like to just:

apt-get install ardour

if possible.

Hmm, Gentoo anyone:

Code:
root@masterc:/usr/src/linux-2.4.20-gaming-r5# emerge -p ardour

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit-0.75.0
[ebuild N ] media-libs/raptor-0.9.8
[ebuild N ] media-libs/ladspa-sdk-1.12
[ebuild N ] media-libs/liblrdf-0.3.1
[ebuild N ] dev-libs/fftw-3.0.1
[ebuild N ] media-libs/libsamplerate-0.0.14
[ebuild N ] media-sound/ardour-0.9_beta3

root@masterc:/usr/src/linux-2.4.20-gaming-r5#

For those unwilling:

Apparently has the RPM's necessary to run Ardour.

Cool
