Ardour

Hello all,

have any of you installed Ardour (audio workstation) in your Linux box? Would you know of a step-by-step install guide, HOW-TO, or have good tips/comments?

Ardour is a little light in the documentation department. As far as I know the only installation guide is the README that is distributed with the source.

I noticed they have a mailing list, so if you run into troubles you can post questions there. Good luck.

This is an old thread, but it's worth closing by noting that ardour documentation has gotten significantly better with a wiki manual located here:

Good info!

I use ardour quite often.. great program and much better then guitar pro or any junk like that.
