apt-zip issues
Regarding apt-zip, as much as I figured, first step is to update package database. However, my machine is offline, thus the need for apt-zip. So what I need to do is:
#1 Update the package database (apt-get update) on an offline machine #2 Use apt-zip to get the packages I managed to figure out #2 but I have no clue how to do #1. |
Solved
I have finally managed to find the solution for this issue. It does not involve apt-zip at all. The fine article that was the end to my quest is found here: http://svn.laiskiainen.org/apt-rpm/t...c/offline.sgml. Credit goes to Jason Gunthorpe. Thank you Jason.
