apt sources.list

hi,

I'm using FC4 and synaptic. But I can't find good repositories to add to the sources.list file. The only repositories I found are for FC3

Are there some people who are also running FC4 and want to post their sources.list file in here?

thx

i'm just a beginner, so you just have to replace the 3 of FC3 by 4 of FC4 and it should work right?

thx

There is no FC3 on the page I just gave you. Now, I'm confused. What are you asking?

What was wrong with the second link I gave you? Off of that, I found this list of mirrors: http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html

That's from the official Fedora website. You can't get more up-to-date than that.

As for changing 3 to 4... well, I can't vouch for it, but it won't harm your system, either. Those sources either exist, or they don't. Try it out. If they exist, fine. If not, you'll undoubtedly get an error.

How about going to those addresses from a web browser and seeing if there is a 4 there.
