APT on FEDORA 1 giving SEGMENTATION FAULT ( post #1)
I am new to LINUX and am having a great time so far and learning much. However, I have not been able to find documentation addressing this issue, and I am hoping someone might be able to help.
I have recently installed FEDORA CORE1, and have downloaded and installed the
Fedora apt4rpm package.
The install and configuration went very well, and I used APT to update and upgrade my FEDORA install. =)
The very next day, I again go to do an apt-get update and it seems to start off on it's downloading and then I get this error message:
Get:1 fedora/1/i386 release [2494B]
Fetched 2494B in 5s (463B/s)

Segmentation fault
I have no idea what I could have done to cause a segmentation fault. Since I last used APT I have installed and configured APACHE, MySQL, and PHP.
Would this have anything to do with the sudden ERROR?
Any assistance anyone could provide would be very much appreciated.

Luckily for me, my question has already been answered by a more knowledgeable user in another forum, which by the way, I also made the mistake of triple posting to. They recieved the apology you are not going to get.
This will definately be the last post I submit to this forum.
