Angry Apt---kino


i am trying to run a web cam on my RedHat 8.0 system, however, I am trying to install kino using APT , however when I type in :

apt-get install kino

I get the following message:

warning: cannot get exclusive lock on /var/lib/rpm/Packages
Reading Package Lists.....Done
Building Dependency Treee...Done
E: Couldn't find package kino

could some one tell me what's wrong here!!!

It can't find the package named kino ... which means that your apt sources don't have such a package available.
