apt-get time out while logging in?

I am having an issue with apt-get that just started a week or so ago and was wondering if any other apt-get for RH users are having the same problem. When I type

> apt-get update

I get

99%[Logging In]
Err ftp://apt.unl.edu 9/kde3 pkglist
Connection timeout

I also get the same for
ftp://ayo.freshrpms.net redhat/9/i386 release

Has this repository gone offline recently?

Never mind. I still don't know what happened to the above servers, but I updated my sources.list file with new repositories and everything is working again. What about the kde-apt servers though??
