In Synaptic (Ubuntu's software manager), there's the option "Mark for Complete Removal"; I suppose, this would include the config files, too, as well as any other influences (like scripts) the application had issued to the system.
Stating,
- opposed to Synaptic's option mentioned above - there doesn't seem to be an option to remove scripts and config files, too.
- How can a program be completely removed using "apt-get", including the configuration settings it provides the Linux system with?
